Can I view the studio before booking?

Yes you can indeed. You can simply book a viewing by using this link: https://outsetstudio.com/studio-viewing/

Will there be someone to assist when I arrive?

A studio assistant or sound engineer will be there on your first session. During so they will talk and guide through using the studio to get your desired outcome.

When are you open?

Our studios are available to book 24/7. However bookings and viewing availability are subject to appointment only.

What is your refund policy?

Cancellations need to be made 48 hours prior to booking in order to get a full refund.

Do you have free parking?

Free parking is available at our Wimbledon studio on a first come first serve basis, there are also loads of side roads that offer free parking near our studios.

Paid street parking is available at the London Bridge Studio

How do I get a studio discount?

We offer a 10% discount for students. To apply for the student discount, simply send a picture of your student ID that includes an expiry date to hello@outsetstudio.com

What are your rates?

Our rates vary depending on the studio you book, but here is a simple break down.

Our Wimbledon studio: starts from £35 p/h

Our London Bridge studio: starts from £60 p/h

Recording at our podcast studio

I am new to podcasting, will there be someone there to guide me?

A sound engineer will be there on arrival for your first few bookings, this is why we strongly recommend to arrive 15 minutes before your booking. The engineer will set up and show you how to use the recording equipment as well as instruct you on how to get the best quality recording.

How do I get my audio after I've finished recording?

Your podcast audio file is recorded onto an SD card. After your session the audio file can either be transferred to your laptop or the files can be sent via email.

For fast turnarounds we strongly suggest you bring an SD card. As we have people using the studio it might take a while before the audio is sent.

How many microphones do you have?

We have 6 microphones and can record up to 6 people in a recording. A standard booking comes with 4 microphones, additional microphones can be added for an additional fee.

Do you have cameras so I can film my podcast?

We do indeed have cameras at our studio. These can be added to a booking at an additional fee if you select podcast studio, or alternatively you can book the vodcast studio which comes with a camera included.

What are the podcast studio rates?

Do you offer podcast editing services?

Can I change the design/set of the studio?

We encourage creativity at Outset Studio, and therefore we are delighted to see creatives transform the space to their vision.

Photography and Film Studio

A studio assistant will be there on arrival for your first few bookings, this is why we strongly recommend to arrive 15 minutes before your booking. The studio assistant will set up and show you how to use the studio equipment as well as instruct you on how to get the most out of your shoot.

Does your studio come equipped?

Our film and photography studios come equipped with a range of tools depending on the requirements of your shoot.

For example the photography studio comes equipment with Bowens 400rx flash lights, softboxes, beauty dishes as well as backdrops to name a few.

Where as the film studio comes equipped with 3 sets of constant lighting, green and blue screen, and much more.
