Do I need a sound engineer or videographer?
Our studio is designed to be self-serve, therefore we have made the recording process as simple as possible.
However, a sound engineer or videographer can be added to your booking to ensure everything runs smoothly.
When you arrive on site a member of our team will show you how to use the equipment and guide you through setting up.
Without a sound engineer or videographer, you are taking full responsibility for the recording process and it’s on you to ensure everything is running smoothly. A member of our team will always be on-site to flag any issues/concerns.
Do you offer editing?
We do indeed offer podcast editing, more information on the service can be found HERE
What do I need to bring with me?
Nothing! However, we strongly recommend bringing the following to take your files with you before you leave:
3 ways to transfer the files to you:
  • Bring your own SD cards (fastest): you will need 1 x Audio SD card and 2 x Cam SD card [Recommended]. We recommend between 32 – 64GB for the Audio SD Card & 128GB for the Cam SD card. We would plug these in for you in the recorder and the cameras and when you are done we pull these out and you are ready to go. please bring 3 Cam SD cards if you booked the 3rd camera.
  • Transferring this to your Hard Drive or Laptop, this can take up to 10 to 15 min per video file, depending on the drive and laptop and this has to be done during the session time not after, so please keep this in mind. [Free]
  • You are able to pay for us to upload this for you to a Dropbox which can take up to 2 working days for you to receive your files [Audio only:£10 and Video & Audio: £30].
Will there be someone to help?
An experienced member of staff is always on-site during your booking. On your first booking, we strongly recommend arriving 10 minutes before your booking. The staff member will set up and show you how to use the recording equipment as well as instruct you on how to get the best quality recording.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Of course! you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment, whether that’s cameras, microphones or your very own engineers and videographers.
